.44-40, 24 inch octagon barrel, strong rifling with pin prick black powder oxidation, 80% barrel blue, 40% tube, 70% receiver thinning, dark case colors on hammer and lever, excellent wood with "AH" picked out in dots on left fore arm, correct sights, excellent markings, excellent mechanically, early 3rd model with second model barrel and no caliber marks on barrel or lifter, 1882.
