Description:
Here is a Perazzi DHO hand made by Daniel Perazzi. This gun was made in 1963 in period where Perazzi and Fabbri were making guns together and has been referred to as a Perazzi/Fabbri. Most of the production of this Perazzi/Fabbri partnership was OU guns, a bar action sidelock SXS would be fairly rare for this tiime period. This is a Lusso grade with ornate deep engraving featuring vines, ribbons and leaves.
Two barrel set with original 27 1/2" chopper lump barrels choked IC and Full. Right barrel measures .730 with 16/1000 choke while the left is .733 with 42/1000 choke. A second set of 29 1/2" chopper lump barrels was added in 2002 by Armi R. Luterotti. These barrels have the exact same engraving pattern at the standing breech area and same hand filing of the rib. The weight of these barrels is stamped 1.420. The barrels are choked Improved Mod and Full. The right barrel measures .727 with 26/1000 choke, while the left is also .727 with 40/1000 choke. All barrels are 2 3/4" chambers. The weight of the gun with the 27 1/2" barrels is 7LBS 2 5/8 OZ. The weight with the 29 1/2" barrel is 7 LBS 7 OZ.
