Description:
Canvass take down case with leather trim.Marked Moose Brand by Brauer Bros.Circa 1930s or 1940s.Two compartments.One for the receiver and one for the barrel.Perfect for a model 12 or a double gun.The canvass is supple with no sign of dry rot.The leather trim is in excellent shape.The only defect is on the left side of the barrel compartment.(shown in photo).It would be easily restiched if needed.A correct period case for grandad's model 12 or just a neat decorator object for the den or gunroom.
