This Winchester has the original steel butt plate intact. The sights are also correct for this gun. The sling swivels are also intact. The bore is bright and clean. This rifle has been used lightly in the field. There is some light blue loss around the bolt handle. The bolt serial number matches the rifle. The original blue finish would rate a 98% condition The original stock finish would rate a 98% condition. The checkering is very sharp with clean lines. This is a very nice clean original Super Grade Winchester that would appeal to the collector of the model 70's. The 270 Winchester cartridge is also quite popular.
