- Note: This S&W model 10-10 came out of the Pinkerton Security Service inventory. Our business serviced Pinkerton's firearms inventory for several years. When pinkerton decided to change to the stainless model 64 service revolver, we acquired thier blued inveltory of S&W's and Colts, amounting, in the long run, to about 1600 handguns. This particular revolver was one of their backup guns that saw very little service. Pinkerton's qualifications required their security guards to shoot 20 rounds twice annually for proficiency. So while many of their guns showed holster and handling wear, they were fired very little. This particular revolver is in 95-98% condition, showing very little blue wear or handling wear on the walnut grips. Case colors are, again, 95-98% on the trigger and hammer. The bore is bright with strong lands and grooves. The gun is mechanically tight. A great revolver for training, home defense or field carry.
