Description:
This must be one of the best conditioned Russian 1944 dated TT33 pistols out there. It is all matching, including the frame, slide, barrel, hammer group and the magazine! It retains about 95% of its original late war blue with just a touch of holster wear. Excellent original grips and a very good bore. Very few late war Russian TT33s ended up on this side of the pond, as the majority of the Russian siderams, captured by the Germans, were from the earlier years, and were captured in 1941.
Majority were made at the Tula Factory, with Izhevsk factory guns being very uncommon. Chambered in hard hitting 7.62X25mm cartridge, which was basically a hotter loading of a .30 Mauser Broomhandle cartridge, it was build like a tank, made to withstand severe temperature fluctuations and was practically indestructible. The ammo is easily availbale now and is inexpensive.
