A really beautiful Smith & Wesson 3rd Model Hand Ejector(I frame)in nickel with a 3 1/4" barrel chambered in 32 S&W long.The original Diamond grips with a 1917 patent date stamped in the bottom are on good shape with the right side grip showing the most wear.. This guns retains about 98% of it's original nickel finish with some freckling on the side plates.This gun has an incredible lock up! The most solid old Smith I have ever had!I can't seem to find the serial number date, it is 3516XX. The story is that this gun belonged to and was carried every day by a detective that worked for a railroad, I have nothing to support that at all, but it sounds good.The wear is to the right side and it would appear the gun was carried quite a bit.The bore and cylinder chambers are perfect and it appears to have not been fired very much as there is no burn at the barrel end or top strap.This gun would be an excellent addition to any S&W collection!
