Classic, highly sought after early Prussian Sauer 16 gauge boxlock non-ejector. Barrels are 29 1/2" (75 centimeters) with 2 1/2" chambers and very good bores, choked .009/.026. This gun features side-mounted cocking indicators. The action has a Greener-style crossbolt, and locks up tight as new. The stock is of very pretty European walnut with crisp, fine checkering. The trigger guard is horn (repaired at the front). The stock features checkered side panels and a capped pistol grip, and measures 1 3/4" x 3" x 14 1/8" over a solid horn butt. Weighs only 6 lbs 1 oz. Excellent, high-quality bird gun.
