SOLD PENDING FUNDS: Colt early Post War Official Police Revolver. This gun was produced in 1949 and is in excellent original condition (98%). This revolver is in .38 special caliber with a 5" barrel. It has the "Coltwood grips" a reddish varigated plastic grip used by Colt for a few years after the War. The only ware is at the right side of the barrel near the muzzle (see Pictues) due to holster or box contact. The gun comes in it's period correct box, which does not have a number visible on the bottom and has a 1.5" piece on the edge of the top missing.. There are two original sales receipts showing a purchace in 1955. A very nice early post war revolver in an original box from 1949 offered at a very fair and competetive price.
