A very early H.L.Leonard bamboo rod.Built around the turn of the century by Leonard himself.This 91/2' rod has 2 tips and the old style ring guides.It has a solid wood reel seat and German silver lock rings.The lock rings are marked Mills of New York who were Leonard's distributors at the time.Excellent overall condition. It does not have the original rod tube.A piece of fly fishing history.
