Another fine “ESTATE” firearm offered by Dust 2 Dollars. We offer you a Winchester Repeating Arms Special Order model 1886 Rifle with a 28” octagon barrel chambered in 45-70. This is an interesting rifle that is all original and has been in the same family since purchased until now. The serial number is 45816 and tells us it was manufactured approximately in 1890. The bore on the rifle is excellent, bright with just a few minor spots of shallow pitting. The bluing is in very fine condition as you can see. There are a few dings on the edges but no dents in the magazine tube. There are traces of case colors on the left side of the receiver with the rest being silver in color. The right side colors are more vivid and visible more than they appear in the pictures. The action is very tight with no movement and the gun has not been cleaned or touched up. The stocks are in very fine condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Overall just a very clean and original 1886 with a 28” barrel and very fine bore. $3,995 plus $85 shipping to you where allowed!! 3% convenience fee added to the total for CC payments.
