Description:
Parker DHE 20 Gauge SxS Shotgun
28", FIGURED FACTORY WOOD, MILLER SST

General Specs: Parker, Year 1907, 20 Gauge, 6lbs 8oz, Side by Side
Serial Number: 142868

Parkers remain the "king of the hill" when it comes to American made vintage double shotguns.  When you examine closely the fit and finish on the Parker guns it is impeccable.  Parker was amongst the best at balancing their guns as well, with guns that tip the scales on the heavy side for gauge feeling much lighter in hand.  Graded guns like this little DHE 20 ga., sn142868 made in 1907, are especially desirable and have been great investments that are a joy to shoot.  With only 1600 made total and only 540 with 28" barrels, it is not a high production gun.  At 6 1/2lbs. and balanced just so with its 28" Titanic Steel barrels, you could not ask for a better handling little 20ga., with enough weight for a steady swing yet easy to carry all day over hill and dale.  The gun has undergone a very professional full restoration and retains 100% metal finishes and a hand rubbed oil finish on the wood.  All parts are original to the gun, including the lavishly figured French walnut buttstock with skeleton butt plate.  This gun is really an attractive Parker, with deeply rust blued barrels, sharp and clear lettering, checkering done to perfection, and nice deep case colors over clear sharp engraving.  With mirror bores, healthy barrels choked IC/M, great stock dimensions, perfect screws, no cracks, this gun is ready for decades of use with no trouble.  Look the photos over closely and you will see an exceptional Parker at an affordable price.
