Description:
Made in the early 1880's this rifle has the less frequently encountered S or serpentine lever. It has a 24 inch round barrel with a better than average bore and action, appearing to be fully functional. The overall condition is "well used." It does not retain any of its original blue as it has been cleaned to a gray patina. The wood has been sanded to a smooth finish, and the forearm has a crack on the left side. They only made around 15,000 Whitny Kennedy rifles in all configurations, and this one has that "old western look."
