This is a new in the box CZ 458 Lott. CZ is one of the premier African big bore rifle manufacturers.
These guns are both rugged and reliable. The guns weighs 9 pounds, has a decelerator recoil pad, 25 in barrel and a nicely grained Turkish walnut stock. the sights are fixed with additional 200 and 300 yd leafs
If I were planning an African Safari this is the "big gun" that I would carry. The double rifles were great in their day however there are many times when one will need more than two shots to bring down that mad Buffalo.
These rifles come from the factory with a two stage set trigger. normal trigger pull is a crisp 3.5 lb and for your bench rest shooting { I do not recommend shooting 500 grain solids from the bench } the trigger pull is 1 lb.
As they say this is a lot of bang for the buck!
