Description:
Up for sale is a freshly built Remington 700 chambered in a 7mm stw. This rifle has been trued and blueprinted from the centerline of the bolt raceway. This service includes the face squared, lug recesses squared, bolt lugs squared and the threads have been cut in-line with the bolt raceway. This rifle has a new x-caliber, stainless steel, match grade barrel with a 5R 1 in 8 twist. It's a #20 contour and is finished at .855. It is threaded 9/16 x 24 tpi and is equipped with a vais stainless brake. It has a diamond ground one piece ptg bolt with m16 style extractor and removable bolt knob. It has one of timney's new 2 stage target triggers that's adjustable from 1.5 to 4 lbs. The raceway is microslicked. The bolt body is cerakoted with a mix of f/s grey and microslick. It cycles very very smoothly to say the least. All of this is sitting in a new hs-precision sendero style stock with a custom granite paint job. It's got the full aluminium bedding block that extends out to the swivel stud. It's got a badger .312 recoil lug that's bedded in the stock with pro-bed 2000. It's been fired 20 times for test fire and grouping purposes. This rifle really likes the new 195 grain berger elite hunter projectiles. The group posted was fired with these.
