U.S. Springfield Trapdoor Model 1884, .45/70, 32" barrel, mfg 1889, U.S. marked on top of butt plate, proof mark "33" and circle "P". Firearm is in very good condition overall, usual wear as seen in military issue firearm. Wood chips missing on top next to action and small chips on side of stock.
