WW2 OR WWII 2ND MODEL OFFICERS LUFTWAFFE DAGGER & SCABBARD BY ALCOSO. With 1940-41 style Alcoso address on ricasso. Braided wire wrap with patina denotes brass perfect in condition with NO unravelling. Pumpkin orange celuloid grip with very little signs of handling. Aluminum pommel ferrule with hilt ferrule with slight gilt appearance correct. Crossguard with blackening in recesses in eagle and opposite pebbleing as well as Alcoso style hand cut oakleaves. Blade correct with needle point and original hand finish file marks. Rounded shell scabbard is correctly unfinished with contracting aluminum scabbard bands. Correct two screw throat device. From the Wittman collection at one point with Wittmann addressed soft side storage zip case.
