Description:
1886 Winchester 45-70 Rifle. Serial number 114,886 manufactured in 1898. 26" round barrel with full magazine tube. I will rate the bore a 7 maybe an 8 on a scale from 1 to 10. Correct and original front and rear sights. Barrel and magazine tube retain a soft 70 to 75% original blue. There is a couple tiny areas of tiny pitting near front sight. Great markings. Left side of receiver retains 60 to 65% original case colors and the right side retains about 20% original. Very nice case colors on hammer and lever. Both forend and buttstock are in very nice condition, never sanded or refinished in anyway. Both pieces do show the normal handling marks, bumps, and scratches.
