Westley Richard Boxlock Ejector, circa 1907, .318 Westley Richards Accelerated, 37 gr. Cordite and 250 gr. bullet proof, 26" barrels with raised rib at rear withand one standing and two folding rear sight leaves transitioning to rib being sunken and rising at the front ramp with, island ramp front sight with flip up low light ivory bead, barrels engraved "Westley Richards 178 New Bond Street, London", "Gunmakers by Special Appointment to His Majesty King Edward VII" and "W.R. 318 Accelerated", "Express Rimless Cartridge", 9 lbs. 5 oz., 14 1/4" LOP to a checkered butt with heel and toe plates, ejectors, boxlock action engraved with acanthus scroll work along with a Lion on bottom of action and a Tiger on trigger guard, Westley patent top lever, bolted safety, dolls head rib extension, much rib engraving, typical for period English walnut stock with replacement and vacant gold oval, checkered side panels with drop points, all checkering recut, possible replacement forend with small horn tip, straight grip, splinter forend, double triggers, barrel mount front swivel.  Comes in a top quality oak and leather case with many accoutraments and brass inset on top with initials.  Very nice condition gun made in the golden age, some minor handling marks, some blue softening, a few scattered minor pits, strong rifling showing.  Reports are it's a good shooter and groups well in tropical temperatures or after barrels are warmed in cooler temperatures.
