Description:

Martially Marked Smith & Wesson 1st Model American. Scarce early gun. The martially marked S&Ws were only a contract of 1,000. This gun has a mostly gray patina. Nice sharp piece with clear markings of the U.S. on the top of the barrel and the letter A on the three places on the left hand side and the letter P on the right hand side. Grips are very good. Barrel has been shortened to almost 6 ½”. Front sight has been replaced. Very neat. Affordable martially marked American.
