The S&W Model 37 is a 5-shot revolver fitted with a 2 inch barrel, shrouded hammer alloy frame, round butt, blue or nickel finished, and chambered in .38 Special. This Model 38 is as described, is blue finished and fitted with checkered wood grips and color case-hardened trigger and hammer. Notice als., this gun is an early model with no action lock. The little snub nose is in excellent/near like new condition, retaining most all of its original blue finishes, perfect grips, bright bore , and a tight and perfectly functioning action.
