Description:
In 1901 Cowboys still carried Colts and used them for protection, predators, and other reasons.  1901 is the second highrest production year.   This gun is in GOOD+ condition and well taken care of.   Nice light  blue on the left and right sides of the ejector housing and right side of barrel and in the flutes. Also blue where barrela nd ejector meet the frame.Faint case colors on the front of the frame.Grips are numbered to the gun and fit so snuggly and well that  I doubt they were ever removed for 115 years, until today.  The action is Crisp,  and Tight at full cock ..   Barrel has 2 line address.    The Rampant Colt is in a full circle on left side. Shoots the 32WCF which allowed the cowboy to carry more cartridges (lighter and more compact) for his Colt and his Winchester.    Several Tiny nicks on bottom of backstrap.  The Bore is Beautiful and sharp.  Our unknown cowboy took good care of cleaning the bore and the cylinder's chambers.  Just a  fine old Cowboy Colt in very good condition for a very fair price.  Please add sufficient postage money to go via Registered Mail or insured Priority Mail.
