I have a beautiful Johnson Automatic rifle for sale. As you may know this is the main competitor for the M1 Garand during WWII. Although not chosen by the US and rarely seen in combat unless by the US Marines, the Johnson is a great rifle. With roughly only 150k produced its make the Johnson a collectors piece. The rifle has a low serial number B393X but is non matching which is correct. The Johnson is all original except the butt stock which was replaced in the early 50's with a Winfield Arms Walnut stock. After the war Johnson co. did alot of custom builds with there rifles and I cant confirm but this may have been one of those upgraded stocks. The metal finish is fine with a large majority of the bluing remaining. The action is tight and the rotary magazine does function properly. This would make a great addition to any collection.
