I have a very nice AMES Civil War Officers Dress Sword M1860. The blade is in good condition with the original etching " US" in the middle. AMES was contracted to maunfacture dress swords for the military. The sword has the matching sheath which is in good condition as well. A very nice piece of Civil War history to own.
