REDUCED-This is one of the new Sako Bavarian rifles, in the Carbine form. When I bought it, I also purchased a new Leupold VX2 4-12x40 scope and mounted it, but never fired it. Since I've had it this long without using it, I guess it can go.
I love Mannlicher-stocked rifles, and have had a number of them from Mannlicher-Shoenauer, Merkel, Blaser, the Remington Custom Shop, Steyr, Ruger, Winchester, and several other companies. I find them to be short, light, and fast on target, and perfect for hunting tree stands or stalking. This one has very nice wood, with fiddleback throughout its length, and open sights. This rifle is chambered in the versatile 30-06, so you can use 125gr loads for Whitetail and low recoil, or 180gr for Elk, Moose, and Bear.
The rifle will be shipped with Talley lightweight 1" rings, plus the original factory box (no scope).
