Description:
Here's another freshly built remington 700 chambered in a 308. This rifle has been trued and blueprinted from the centerline of the bolt raceway. This service includes the face squared, lug recesses squared, bolt lugs squared and the threads have been cut in-line with the raceway. This rifle has a 26 inch #20 contour X-Caliber match barrel with a polygonal rifled 5r 1 in 9 twist. Its finished off at .855 with a nice 11 degree target crown. Its threaded 5/8 x 24 tpi and the brake has been contoured down to match the barrel. The barrel and crown were both meticulously hand lapped. All of this is sitting in a new black HS-Precision stock with full aluminum bedding block that extends to the swivel stud. The action, barrel and bottom metal is cerakoted patriot brown and the bolt is painted tungsten with a mix of microslick ceramic cerakote to give it a very smooth cycle. It has a factory re-worked x-mark pro trigger that has been tuned and polished to give it a nice crisp pull. This rifle looks, shoots and feels awesome. The group was fired with factory winchester match ammo. 3 shots at 100 yds. This rifle was fired 20 times for test fire and grouping purposes. I will ship to FFL only.
