The pommel is a fine example, having a good detail to both the swatsika and the oak leaves that surround them. Most of the blackening is retained in its background. The matching tone crossguard features an eagle flying to the left and clutching a swastika in its talon. The details of the feathering of this bird, as well as the head and breast, are outstanding. the Quillon arms have engraved oak leaves and acorns. The grip is an attractive pumpkin orange colored in perfect condition with wrapped, twisted wire that's 100% intact. The scabbard is near-mint, with no dents and a nice, pebbled texture with most of the black background intact. The blade is near mint with 100% of the nickel plating intact. It's mirror-bright with a couple of scabbard scuffs, but a nice finish and a needle-like tip. The reverse has Robert Klaas, Soligen etched on the ricasso of the blade with the trademark.
