Description:
Savage Model 12 Stainless Single Shot Varmint .223 Remington. The single shot rifle is right hand bolt operation with left side port ejection, and features a Savage "Precision Target AccuTrigger", a Savage 20.5" stainless steel heavy barrel with a 1-9" twist and measures .98" at the muzzle, H-S Precision composite stock and recoil pad. The rifle weighs in at 10 pounds, 10 oz. The rifle is somewhat similar to Savage Model 12 Series Varmint LRPV Left Port (Long Range Precision Varmint) with 26" stainless fluted barrel, but instead of the fluted 26 inches, our rifle barrel is 20.5" without fluting. See Savage to compare. Possibly the rifle was a model manufactured in the recent past and or the barrel was shortened and crowned to 20.5 inches.
