Less than 3% of all guns Merwin & Hulbert made were blued. All assembly numbers match, good mechanics. Serial No. 17969. The gun has about 30% blue left, the rest is in plum patina. Grips show little to no hand wear. The face of the cylinder and the recoil shield show little evidence of being fired. The hammer reveals some case color and the lanyard ring is in place.
