Description:
Superb craftsmanship on this gorgeous BSA custom .270. BSAs were made in England and although relatively uncommon here in the states, are of outstanding quality. Details of this build include a very nicely figured walnut sporter stock with hand rubbed satin oil finish, shadow line cheek piece, flawless checkering, steel grip cap, quick release swivel studs, and Pachmayr pad. The barreled action features equisite rust type bluing throughout, a 22" barrel, and a factory dovetailed receiver for scope mounting, ideally suited for Parker Hale mounts but will also work with a variety of others. The bolt body and follower have been jeweled, the bolt knob and safety lever expertly checkered. LOP is 13 1/2 inches. Mechanical operations all seem to function perfectly and the bore is excellent. This is a fabulous collector quality rifle at a reasonable price well under replacement cost.
