Description:
Six inch Colt Python .357 Magnum with SN# V79265 made in 1979 for sale. This is not NIB, but a Python in excellent condition that easily meets 98% rating in KBB. As pictured, this revolver has been used but not abused. Bluing is strong without any holster wear in usual locations. There is a turn mark on cylinder, less than more, a small blemish on cylinder, and three small marks on blue at left side of trigger guard. These marks are less than superficial. They are not in metal just into bluing. No excuses,but this is my best description. The revolver is a keeper, just not perfect. No need to worry on this piece. Being a fussy collector and buyer,I could keep it and not feel I needed to be rid of it. Ranking the three Python listings I have on GI this is #3. It is a 95% revolver, no less. Someone just wanting to keep this piece would hit these spots with a blue pen and never know they were there. Questions, requests for pictures, or a talk over the phone are always welcome. If there is a reserve, it is set to be fair to buyer and seller, nothing outrageous. Payment is cashiers check or USPS money orders. Buyer pays $50 shipping/insurance fee/tracking. There is a three day inspection period. Returns have a $100 restocking fee. No returns if weapon has been fired or disassembled. Sales tax if buyer is located in Pa. I prefer an FFL, but a copy of current drivers license will be accepted.
