Springfield Model 1855, 58 Ca., Original, un-fired, un-issued Rifle Musket with maynard tape primer. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a rifle musket from the Civil War era. Excellent antique condition with only minor handle marks. Reportedly, this gun was located in an armory in upper state New York after WW 2 when the armory was being cleaned out. It has been in one collector's collection until now. This is a museum quality antigue. An extraordanary chance to own a piece of American history. No serial number.
