Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: For sale, a World War 2 produced F.N. Model 1922 chambered for the .32 ACP cartridge. This little pistol has definitely seen some action and time in the field. This pistol was made under German supervision and bears the waffenampts and Nazi eagle proofs of the German inspectors assigned to the factory. The slide is stamped with two "WaA140" stamps and the frame has one to the right of the trigger. There are final acceptance Nazi proof eagles stamped on the frame, slide, and barrel. There is very little to none of the original military dull blue finish left on the pistol. It has been worn off or taken off of this gun at some point in the last 7 decades. Usually with such a high degree of finish gone you have pitting from rust, but not on this pistol. The metal does not appear to have had any heavy long term rust on it as you can see in the pictures. This leads us to believe that the bluing was removed on purpose with maybe the intention of having it reblued which never happened. All the serial numbers match on the numbered parts. The gun works properly with the exception of the hold open notch. Either the notch or the slide stop needs to be dressed up a little to prevent it from slipping. This is a neat little historical gun that was some soldier's bring-back war trophy from WW2. This would be a great addition to any firearms collection, and could be shot without worrying about messing up the finish. Priced to sell! SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Manufacturer: F.N.
