An "AS NEW" ( sorry no box or papers) estate sale of a Beretta Model A2 gas operated 12ga. 2 3/4" only with a 28" barrel and modified choke vent rib barrel. Beautiful high gloss finbish on the walnut butt stock and forend and very fine hand checkering.Light weight alloy receiver marked "Made in Italy" and the importer was Garcia.
14" LOP over a factory hard plastic butt plate. This gun is a true closet queen! Purchased when the owner was ill in hopes of hunting again along with a Winchester 94 ( in another of mine here on G.I.) this never happened and the guns were put away until now.If you look very hard you may find a very minor handling mark and the gun has not been fired since leaving the factory.
I checked the receiever for the Italian manufacturing code for date of manufacture but all I could find was the code on the barrel of XXVI or 1970, the Blue Book states the gun was only manufactured 1973 to 1975?.
