Description:
Parker GH 12 Gauge Side-by-Side  Shotgun
#1 FRAME, 28" DAMASCUS, 6 1/2 LBS, 75% CASE COLOR

General Specs: Parker, Year 1904, 12 Gauge, 6lbs 8oz, SxS
Serial Number: 128072

In the Parker world we see many GH Grade 12 bore shotguns.  They made over 25,000 guns in 12ga. GH Grade!  Most are well used, long barreled, heavy guns with pitted barrels and little factory condition remaining.  Not so with this unusual Parker, sn128072 built in 1904.  Here is a rarity in the era of heavy waterfowlers; a Parker built for upland use with factory Cyl/F chokes, 28" gorgeous factory original damascus barrels, and weight of 6 1/2lbs.!  It is hard to find a 6 1/2lb. 16 gauge Parker, let alone one in 12ga.  Most 12 bore Parkers were built on a #2, or later a #1 1/2 frame and weighed over 7lbs.  Light weight 12ga. doubles are not common, and to find one with high condition damascus and lots of case color is extraordinary.  LOOK THE PHOTOS OVER CLOSELY.  THIS IS NOT JUST ANOTHER GH 12GA.  The wood has outstanding factory figured walnut, with perfect wood to metal fit and awesome checkering. The barrels show 95% original damascus pattern with no dents, 26 thousandths minimum wall thickness, and excellent shiny bores.  The receiver has crisp, clean engraving and 75% strong factory case color.  The mechanics are excellent, and the LOP is 14 1/4" to the factory butt plate.  This is an honest, high condition Parker ready to enjoy in the field or at the traps.  The booming interest in damascus guns will make this a desirable gun and a grand investment as well as a fine upland double.   Thanks for looking!
