Description:
This is a JP Sauer Sidelock Drilling in 9.3x72R / 12x12. This is quite an interesting piece in that is has exceptional wood that can either be hunted as is, or a refinish will make it an unbelieveable piece of art. The same is true for the metal. The action and silver adornments all have some flecking but with a refinish, will look great with new case coloring, or just hunt it as it. The rifle is very accurate using the Sellier & Bellot 9.3x72R factory ammo, an excellent deer/elk/boar cartridge. I have not shot the 12 gauge barrels. This gun has the original claw bases built into the rib, but the mounts and rings are missing. Either Aaron Little or JJ Perodeau could very affordably build new mounts and rings for the gun. I bought this thinking I would completely restore, but other projects have taken over. I'm offering at a real steal at $1700 plus shipping.
