What a gorgeous over/under gun we have here. Imported in 1991 and sold through SKB USA as an Angelo Bee Custom Engraved ONE-OF-A-KIND custom gun. SKB guns are known to be stout and precisely built from the finest of steels and the expertise of the Japanese gun trade to very exacting specifications. An option offered through the importer of the SKB guns was to have a truly custom gun made with highly figured walnut stocks and hand engraved by Master Engraver Angelo Bee. These guns were done per custom order and varied in cost according to the level of engraving requested. This gun, sn90340, has very elaborate and expertly cut game scene engraving in 3 vignettes; one on each side and one on the bottom of the receiver. The 10 heavy raised gold inlays are intricately detailed and the vignettes are created by a raised gold wire border. The trigger guard is embellished with a raised gold quail, with the balance of the action and trigger guard showing vine and foliate style engraving with a stippled background. This is also a very functional shooting machine as well, with strong well timed ejectors, bullet proof single selective trigger, screw-in chokes for versatility, all as new. The best thing is that this is an affordable gun that can be owned and cherished for generations to come without having to be Royalty or a business mogul! Angelo Bee's work has become highly sought after the last 10 years and he is about at the end of his engraving career and ready to enjoy retirement. His work will continue to increase in value as you enjoy the use of a beautiful and functional shotgun for hunting and clays. Thanks for looking!
