S/N 87XXX, Mfg. 1948, matching bolt, 24" barrel, factory drilled for scope mounts front and back (smooth topped rear bridge), low comb stock, steel butt plate. Like new Bausch & Lomb Balvar 2.5-8X scope with clear glass and smooth function in B&L plunger mount. Excellent condition throughout with light handling marks in wood. A very clean, unaltered Transition 70 with one of the very last pre war style clover leaf tangs and Tilden safety.
