Description:
This is a Colt Lightning rifle in .38 Caliber with a 26" barrel. Metal is in Fair condition with no finish left. There is moderate pitting on the barrel and magazine tube, and a some spots on the action. The bore shows some pitting with good rifling. The butt stock is cracked on the left side at the wrist and has been repaired. The fore end has a chip missing on the bottom on the left hand side. This rifle has been equipped with a Marble's rear semi-buckhorn sight and a Lyman blade front sight.
