Description:
This partial (25 round) one piece box remains in excellent condition with a few scuffs (mostly on bottom) and very light soiling. This box shows a New York Address and non-mercuric callout indicating production between 1928 and 1936. This box shows callouts for rifle (tax avoidance), Sharp-shouldered bullet (wadcutter), smokeless, oilproof and self-cleaning. The brass cases show "USC CO 38 S+W SPL" headstamp, purple primer sealant on silver primers and wadcutter bullets. A very nice early 1930's US Box.
