Description:
This is a Montreal-made cap (size 6 7/8) by William Sculley Ltd. that has a khaki crown with yellow felt band, and a gray metal Canadian Armoured Corps (post-1940) badge at the front. The thin brown chinstrap is affixed with brass general service Canadian army buttons and the cloth peak has retained its shape, but does have some minor staining along the underside. The interior has a dark green lining with full coverage sweat shield and maker's label, as well as a slightly crazed leather comfort band, and the crown has a pronounced “saddle" shape. The cloth has some minor staining from long storage, but the crown stiffeners are still in place and the cap rates fine-near excellent overall. This is a handsome Canadian cap and would make a great display piece.
