Description:
Serial #16, .32 S&W, 3” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome little revolver that retains 70-75% of the original blued finish with the balance flaked to the underlying smooth, plum-brown metal. The frame, cylinder, topstrap, and barrel lug have excellent New York style scroll engraving, and most of the blue flaking occurs along the engraving at the bottom of the frame. The checkered hard rubber grips are in fine-near excellent condition with some minor handling marks and mild flattening of the points. The revolver is housed in a correct, unnumbered Iver Johnson cardboard box which is in very good shape having some light edge and corner wear. Engraved and blued Iver Johnson revolvers are not often encountered, and this example is in very good-fine condition. It would make a nice addition to a collection of engraved pocket revolvers.
