Description:
Serial #634553, .38 Special, 6” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome, 1939-made revolver that has retained 98-99% of the original blue finish with some trace silvering along a few of the edges and bearing surfaces. There is a mild turn-ring on the cylinder and some barely noticeable surface scratches on the sides of the hammer. The checkered wqlnut Colt medallion grips are in excellent shape, unnumbered on the interior, but with very few handling marks or blemishes. The mechanism is tight and full functional, and the revolver rates excellent condition overall. The revolver is housed in a correct, non-matching one-piece Colt box that has very little edge or corner damage, and some fading of the exterior. The interior of the box is in excellent shape with crisp, unfaded printing, and the end label, which has deteriorated but is still legible and matches the gun. FFL or C&R
