Description:
Serial #60937, .22 RF, 2 1/2” barrel with a good bore that has some dark pitting along its length. This little revolver is equipped with the sloping hammer and has matching numbers on the frame and barrel with about 90-92% of the original nickel finish remaining. There is some light flaking along the sides of the frame that allows the underlying brass to show through in spots, with some further pinprick pitting and mild freckling on the sides of the cylinder, and a dark plum-brown patina on a few portions of the barrel. Much of the original bright blue remains on the hammer with the balance turned to a smooth dark plum patina. The lock-up is still tight and the mechanism functions flawlessly. The walnut grips are numbered to the gun faintly on the interior and are in fine condition with most of the original finish remaining and the revolver rates very good condition overall. Antique
