Description:
This late war carbine was the predecessor to the Model 1944 carbine (fitted with bayonet) and is chambered in 7.62x54R. Barrel is 20” with a very good plus bright strong bore. All visible serial numbers match and we don't see any import markings. Metal surfaces are blued and retain about 90% original finish with the bulk of the loss on the buttplate with some thinning on the receiver ring There is some fine scattered freckling. Hardwood stock and handguard have numerous scratches, dings and dents along with substantial finish flaking and loss. Comes with a cleaning rod. C&R or FFL
