Description:

German Guild "Krupp" marked Drilling (Vierling*) Cal 16X16Ga. X 8.X57R + .22LR.

Wow, what a mouthful that is.

This is the most unusual gun I have ever had. A magnificently and engraved Vierling with a .22 Cal. conversion barrel complete with its own extractor system.

The workmanship is something to marvel at. The blued metal parts retain about 98% of the original Guild shop finish with no pits, rub marks, or scratches. The beautifully hand engraved receiver is in the white and like the barrel is flawless.

The forearm release and the bullet trap are also beautifully engraved. The hand checkered stock and forearm reflect the typical Guild shop quality. The forearm is super nice showing very little use. The butt, with the bullet trap, is the only less than super part (very small chip out of the toe of the gun). The right hand side is excellent, showing little use and unblemished checkering. The left does have 5 or 6 surface dents on the checkered pistol grip, that could probably be steamed out. The rest of the stock is perfect.

The trigger guard and butt plate are made of pressed steer horn in the finest European guild shop fashion. The locking lever has retained about 95% 0f the original blue and, like the rest of the gun, shows little use.

The operating system consist of an Anson & Deeley locking crossbolt and a double trigger system which fires the shotgun barrels. When the slider on the top tang is depressed and pushed forward it switches to the 8mm rifle barrel and simultaneously pops up the notched rifle sight. All three barrels have cocking indicators.

The forward rifle sight is for the .22 barrel conversion system. The conversion system is easily inserted and fastened in the front with a locking screw. On the left side of the receiver is the gun's safety. The wide checkered barrel rib features two checkered rifle sights and a set of finely engraved claw mounts.

This is one Helluva a gun. The barrels measure 26 inches and the length is 14-1/4". The bores of all barrels are perfection. Whether rifled or smooth, they show almost no use. This gun has every deluxe feature found on the typical high priced Guild gun.

It turns heads wherever it is shown.... $3495.
