Description:
This is a Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine in .25-20 Wincester Center Fire. The serial number dates to 1910. The action shows good patina with no finish left. There are traces of pitting on the action and the top of the bolt. The saddle ring is still present. The barrel shows some blue left near the breech. There is some pitting, mainly on the left side of the barrel in front of the fore end. The bore is heavily pitted with rifling still visible. The full length magazine tube shows Good blue with no dents. The butt stock is the carbine style with a steel carbine butt plate. There is a crack on the right side above the lever. The fore end shows some handling.
