Description:
This is a Winchester Model 70 Featherweight rifle in .30-06 Springfield with a 22 inch barrel. The serial number indicates a manufacture date of 1960. The action is in Very Good condition with light wear on the bolt knob and some evidence of scope mount bases having been installed. The 22 inch barrel is Very Good with a shiny bore. A folding rear sight and a front bead on a ramp are present, but the front sight hood is missing. The action is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The bottom metal is in Good condition with some scrathes on the floor plate. The stock is Good to Very Good with some handling marks on the right side of the butt stock in front of the recoil pad and on the underside of the fore end. A Pachmayr ventilated rubber recoil pad has been installed.
