Quality Consignments Wanted! This pistol was produced in 1943. the pistol's serial number is 1068307. This is an all correct as issued pistol. These US&S pistols were in the serial range of 1041405 to 1096404. The total production was 55,000 Pistols. That makes these pistols rare for collectors today. This pistol has the correct High Standard barrel. This barrel shows shooting wear, however the lands are sharp and the bore is bright and clean. The plastic grips are the latter Keyes Fiber Co. grips with the reinforcing screw rings. These grips also show service use. The inspector's initials is in a circle, R.C.D. which is for Robert C. Downie. This pistol retains the original finish. This finish would rate a 87% overall condition. This pistol has the "P" stamp on the slide and frame. This is correct for this serial range. This pistol shows war time service use and wear. This is a very honest highly collectable Union Swich And Signal pistol that is all original and is in it's original as issued condition. The holster is also produced in 1943 by Grafton & Knight. This holster shows the same service use as this pistol. The holster is sound and very serviceable. This holster comes with this pistol as a "rig". This makes for a very nice collectable set for the advanced collector. Search for hlvfineguns on google.
