Rare Consecutively Numbered Pair of Colt Single Action Army “Texas Rangers” Commemoratives. Engraved left side of barrel reads TEXAS RANGER COMMEMORATIVE “One Riot-One Ranger” and on the right side COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45. “Texas Rangers” roll engraved on backstrap; sterling silver Texas Star-Wreath on top of backstrap behind hammer, YO Ranch brand on bottom of backstrap recognizing the legendary Texas Cattle ranch. Manufactured only in 1970 these twins are 2 of 1,000 produced. They feature 7 ½” blued finish; color case hardened frame; nickel-plated trigger guard, base pin and screw, ejector rod and head, ejector tube screw & gold-plated stock screw. Fitted with smooth walnut grips & inlaid with silver miniature Texas Ranger badge on the left panel. Both Colts are in excellent plus condition showing some handling marks. One has a couple light marks towards the end of the barrel otherwise as new, while the other has a very faint drag line on the cylinder. Includes glass display case with red velvet insert & 2 badges. One Texas Rangers Badge and a second “Co. A” inscribed Texas Ranger badge made from silver "Cinco Peso" coin.
